**About the role**

Real estate is core to our business, and you share our passion for reinventing
consumer experiences in the “built” world. As Director of Real Estate, you
will be responsible for building relationships with commercial landlords,
sourcing new deals, negotiating partnerships, managing a robust pipeline, and
leading landlord success initiatives.

As an early team member, you will have a rare opportunity to build and define
the business from the ground up. This is a unique chance to lead major

building relationships, negotiating deals, and doing what others say can’t be
done. You also understand how your business decisions impact the broader
business both financially and operationally.

environment. He/she/they has experience with business development, real estate
and/or financial transactions, a strong work ethic, and a hunger to learn and

This role is based in Los Angeles and will report to the CEO and Co-Founder to

**Responsibilities**

* Source real estate opportunities and manage a pipeline of transactions
* Develop landlord relationships that result in multi-unit deals, delivering superior returns to Stuf and our landlord partners
* Lead site selection and evaluate market demand using a data-driven approach
* Prepare financial underwriting and deal books for potential partnerships and Stuf leadership to review
* Collaborate cross functionally to validate assumptions, develop our products, and coordinate Marketing and Ops efforts
* Lead landlord success initiatives to better serve our real estate partners and generates repeat business
* Drive key company initiatives and develop tools/processes that help us scale efficiently and predictably
* Take on roles we haven’t hired yet
* Create a fun, authentic, and dynamic company culture

**Requirements**

* 5 - 10 years of professional experience in commercial real estate and business development (i.e. acquisitions, asset management, partnerships, capital markets, brokerage, etc.)
* Strong financial modeling, underwriting and other analytical skills
* High emotional intelligence with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
* Excellent judgment, project management, and problem-solving skills
* Strong communication and presentation skills
* Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time

* Experience with lease negotiation, site selection or managing a deal pipeline within a CRM system
* Strong network of commercial real estate contacts (office, retail, and multifamily)
* Startup and/or proptech work experience
