**About Rysk Labs**
Rysk is building the next generation of decentralized derivatives exchanges.
Our focus is on creating high performance, fast, low latency CLOB
infrastructure. We prioritize performances, high capital efficiency and self
custody to scale DeFi derivatives. Our goal is to provide the financial
infrastructure necessary to exchange any asset in a fast and self custodial
way and ultimately uproot traditional finance.
**The Role**
We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to improve the reliability,
consistency, security, and performance of the Rysk infrastructure.
The ideal candidate will need to have a deep understanding of Kubernetes and
experience operating services at scale. Some development experience is also
desired in order to contribute to internal tools and help the rest of the
engineering team develop, deploy and operate their services successfully.
**Responsibilities**
* Develop, maintain, and optimize continuous integration and deployment processes.
* Build tools to support the operation, automation, and monitoring of high load apps
* Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in our dev, test, and production environments.
* Enhance our infrastructure security protocols.
* Automate our operational processes as needed
* Collaborate with developers to manage code releases and deployments.
* Stay current with industry trends and source new ways to improve our infrastructure and efficiencies
**Your profile**
* Senior-level experience in Software Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, or a dev-focused DevOps role
* Expert level scripting/coding skills in one or more languages (TypeScript/Golang/Python)
* Deep knowledge of Kubernetes, Linux, and GCP/AWS
* Strong analytical and logical skills
* Strong security mindset
* Ownership mindset and a track record of successfully accomplished projects
* Ability to simply articulate the "why" behind best practices and to build positive and collaborative relationships with rest of the team
* Passion for crypto and derivatives trading
