**Overview**
Flox is dedicated to making developers more productive across every stage of
the software development life cycle, bringing the superpowers of Nix to
everyone. We're looking for a developer relations engineer (AI/ML) to help us
create examples, tutorials, and reference architectures that help users manage
complex computing environments - especially those used for AI training and
development. Our ideal candidate is part storyteller, part scientist, and part
analyst - someone who loves both building stuff and teaching others.
Flox is a globally distributed startup with employees based across the US and
Europe. This role would report into the Head of Marketing.
**Responsibilities**
Key responsibilities
* Create articles, blog posts, prototypes, white papers, and examples that educate the market on the technical capabilities of Flox
* Appear in on-stage talks, workshops, webinars, podcasts, and other available venues to promote your work
* Study the ecosystem to identify areas of future focus, developing technical market analysis and prototypes to prove or disprove hypotheses
* Motivate users to implement Flox in more advanced, powerful, and comprehensive ways

**Qualifications**
* 4+ Years of software development experience in a professional setting, with a focus on AI/ML stacks
* 2+ Years of experience developing public-facing, educational technical content
* Excellent verbal, written, and visual communication skills
* Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to stakeholders from all walks of life
* Ability to write, troubleshoot, and debug code efficiently
* Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
**Nice-To-Have**
* A desire to understand the business
* Experience with data science toolchains
* Enthusiasm for open source communities, or a history of contribution
* Experience with developer tools
* A willingness to Karaoke
Travel: Candidates will be expected to travel about 1 week a month to
collaborate with the team in person and attend industry events.
