Scientist Intern, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the development of
our proprietary AI algorithms and machine learning models, contributing

**Role Overview:**
We are seeking a motivated and passionate Data Scientist Intern to assist in
sourcing, collecting, and preprocessing data for machine learning model
training. The intern will be responsible for data mining from various free and
publicly available sources, curating relevant databases, datasets, flat file
formats, and contributing to the enhancement of our machine learning models.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. **Data Sourcing and Collection:**
* Search and collect data from diverse free sources relevant to our machine learning projects, ensuring data quality and accuracy.
* Collaborate with the team to identify potential sources that align with the requirements of the ML models.
2. **Data Preprocessing:**
* Clean, preprocess, and organize the collected data to make it suitable for machine learning model training.
* Handle missing values, outliers, and inconsistencies within the dataset.
3. **Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA):**
* Perform exploratory data analysis to understand the characteristics and patterns of the collected data.
* Visualize data to uncover insights that can inform the feature engineering and model development process.
4. **Model Training and Evaluation:**
* Assist in training machine learning models using the curated data and pre-existing ML algorithms.
* Evaluate model performance, identify areas of improvement, and contribute to enhancing the models for better accuracy and efficiency.
5. **Documentation:**
* Document the data collection and preprocessing procedures in a clear and organized manner.
* Create detailed reports and summaries of the collected data and its relevance to the ML projects.
**Qualifications:**
* Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
* Familiarity with data collection and preprocessing techniques.
* Basic understanding of machine learning concepts and algorithms. **\- Proficiency in Django, and relevant libraries for data manipulation and analysis MANDATORY**
* Experience with Git and Github mandatory.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
**Note:**
This internship is intended to provide valuable experience and learning
opportunities in the field of data science. This is currently an unpaid
internship position.
