Job Description

**What you will be doing:**

Beacon Biosignals is seeking a Product Manager II to join the Product
Department in helping us build our machine-learning-enabled brain health
platform to accelerate precision treatment for millions of patients with
severe neurological and psychiatric disease. This role will report to the
Director of Product.

Beacon's robust asynchronous work practices ensure a first-class remote work
experience, but we also have in-person office hubs available located in
Boston, New York, or the Bay Area.

**What success looks like:**

* Work cross-functionally across several teams and projects
* Build a deep knowledge of our internal and external users, customers, partners, and the biopharma ecosystem in which Beacon operates
* Map the opportunity space for the Beacon Platform, and drive product vision, strategy, and roadmaps in the context of the company's broader strategy and goals
* Practice continuous discovery by ensuring that you and your team are consistently speaking with users, challenging your assumptions, and testing your solutions
* Leverage Beacon's unique next-generation scientific computing capabilities to ship valuable, high quality products and features that delight users and maximize Beacon's impact
* Value outcomes over output and define success in terms of the value created for customers
* Take a scientific approach to product development by continuously challenging assumptions, gathering evidence, testing hypotheses, and validating outcomes

**What you will bring:**

* You've worked as a product manager for data-driven B2B products. You can clearly explain the impact of your efforts on those products, and the impact of those products on business outcomes
* You've demonstrated success collaborating with cross-functional teams of engineers and designers throughout the product life cycle
* You understand that product development is a strategic endeavor. You've crafted and driven effective product strategies in your past roles, and know when to adapt methodologies to fit the immediate needs of the team
* You're comfortable working in an asynchronous environment, and have demonstrated success working remotely in the past
* You have experience working in the realm of data and analytics and have experience explaining the complexity of decisions to stakeholders and customers

**Nice to Haves:**

* You have experience in ML or AI products
* You have experience working in health or biotech and you're motivated to have a huge impact on the industry and on real patients' lives
* You’ve worked in a heavily regulated product market space

The base salary range for this role is $135,000 - $170,000 a year and is
determined based on past experience, specific skills and qualifications. The
base salary is one component of the total compensation package, which includes
equity, PTO and other benefits.

At Beacon, we've found that cultural and scientific impact is driven most by
those that lead by example. As such, we're always seeking new contributors
whose work demonstrates an avid curiosity, a bias towards simplicity, an eye
for composability, a self-service mindset, and - most of all - a deep empathy
towards colleagues, stakeholders, users, and patients. We believe a diverse
team builds more robust systems and achieves higher impact.
