Job Overview:
As the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) / Head of Engineering at PostCredit, you
will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's technical vision and
strategy. You will manage our existing service providers, and build and manage
a talented engineering team in designing, developing, and implementing
innovative, scalable, and reliable solutions to enhance our platform's
performance and user experience. The ideal candidate is a dynamic leader with
a deep technical background, exceptional problem-solving skills, and a passion
for driving technical excellence.
Responsibilities:
* Provide strategic leadership, technical guidance, and mentorship to the engineering team.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technology initiatives with business objectives.
* Drive the architecture and development of robust and scalable software solutions.
* Oversee the implementation of best practices for software development, testing, and deployment.
* Champion a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and technical excellence within the engineering team.
* Evaluate and implement cutting-edge technologies to enhance platform functionality and security.
* Ensure compliance with banking specific data privacy and security standards.
* Manage resources effectively, including budget allocation and recruitment.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
* Proven experience as a CTO, VP of Engineering, or a similar leadership position in a fintech
* Strong technical background with hands-on experience in software development and architecture.
* In-depth knowledge of web and mobile technologies, cloud infrastructure, and data management.
* Track record of successfully leading and growing high-performing engineering teams.
* Experience with agile development methodologies and project management tools.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Prior experience in fintech/payments is a must. Entertainment experience is a plus
