zoolife is an interactive livestream membership that lets four billion animal
lovers connect with the world’s animals up-close by bringing the zoo
experience online -- through live 24/7 user controlled cameras inside ethical
zoos & animal sanctuaries. Imagine getting a push alert when a baby giraffe is
born, and watching the livestream on your phone! For the first time, animal
lovers of all ages now have live access to uncut, unfiltered, unpredictable
content and expert analysis on their favorite animals.

We are on a mission to remove the largest barriers for anyone to deepen their
compassion for the world’s animals, and to shape a biodiverse future for our
planet. zoolife is a venture-backed, Techstars NYC startup led by a repeat
founding team based in Toronto, Canada. We’ve set up marquee partnerships with
the zoo industry’s thought-leaders and the top wildlife sanctuaries in the
world, while having proved early signals of product-market fit. As an early
employee, you will have an outsized impact in building the most recognizable
household name for animal content catering to the next generation of animal
lovers.

### **WHO YOU ARE**

* You resonate with our mission to deepen the world’s connection to all animals. You also resonate with brands that embrace curiosity, community, play, and social impact
* You previously grew with a startup through to a Series-A stage or later as an early marketing hire. Ideally in media & entertainment, live streaming, gaming, sports or a community-based product
* You can equally get hands-on (i.e. write copy, design websites, create content) and plan strategically (i.e. design creative campaigns / build out teams), you love playing both roles -- be scrappy or polished depending on what’s needed!
* Deeply experienced with marketing & communication, content marketing, and brand positioning.You have a sharp eye for design and art direction
* You have a track record of building organic growth channels and measuring performance through a startup’s seed and Series A stages
* An excellent coach/mentor to the people you work with. You’re also a superb communicator and provide well-articulated direction, feedback, and insights with your team members, strategic partners, and freelance resources

### **WHAT TO EXPECT:**

* High stakes execution at a seed stage startup driving top line growth and building out our marketing function in a key leadership role
* Design & implement campaigns and strategic tactics to reach and acquire animal lovers, managing content production and measurement with the help of the current growth marketing team
* Build marketing collateral, landing pages, and creative content with the support of our in-house content manager, and freelancers when necessary
* You will directly contribute to and be responsible for traffic generated from your marketing initiatives and their conversion rate
* Own brand positioning and all communications through zoolife channels (content, social, SEO, email, partnerships, and PR) and evolve our messaging as we continue to learn more about animal lover user personas
* Our partnerships with zoos are both pull (campaigns through zoo’s audience via their web, social, email, on-site, and PR) and push (bundling into zoo membership & ticket purchases). You’ll supercharge their marketing teams through existing offline & online channels, taking into account the unique characteristics of each zoo/sanctuary partner and their animals. In other words, you’ll consult and advocate to our zoo & sanctuary partners on ways to leverage zoolife to meet their marketing objectives
* We are a hybrid team and you can work from anywhere. We are primarily headquartered in Toronto with a presence in NYC. We offer generous ESOP, extended health insurance benefits (CDN), and unlimited time away / vacation policy
* You’ll work on an impactful category-creating product with strong marketing positioning and IP, that leads to a paradigm shift inside the zoo industry (e.g. how uber has changed the way we take taxis, how airbnb has changed the way we rent homes)

Brizi focuses on SaaS, Sports, Content, Internet of Things, and Entertainment
