**Required Experience and Education** :
* Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or similar technical field.
* 6+ years of overall experience, 4+ years with DevOps.
* Passionate advocate of cloud computing, with solid professional experience of AWS architecture and administration in production environments.
* Strong knowledge/understanding of Kubernetes and ability to troubleshoot Kubernetes deployment issues.
* Hands on experience with deploying and managing multiple containerization (Docker) and resource scheduling (Kubernetes) cluster solutions.
* Knowledge of Helm and Helm charts.
* Knowledge of CI/CD automation tooling such as Jenkins, Docker, Spinnaker, Kube, Helm, Ansible, Puppet, Terraform and other DevOps technologies.
* Understanding of AWS: IAM, S3, SQS/SNS, EKS, ECS.
* Experience monitoring application health checks, setting up dashboards and integrating alerts to let users know for any application failures.
* Ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure problems in complex Cloud environments.
* Experience building and troubleshooting front and backend services preferably in an online business environment.
* Capable of building, and can demonstrate a history of developing, your own solutions to fix complex issues.
* Comfortable engaging with the Customer directly via chat, video, tickets.
**Desired experience:**
* AWS Certification.
* Experience with Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS).
* Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) a plus.
* Python/Java/Go development a plus.
* Understanding alternate container orchestration platforms like Nomad, Mesos/Marathon, ECS is a plus.

cyclical, including time sensitive deadlines, intellectual challenge, some
