Seeking experienced full stack engineer with interest in sports and/or fantasy
sports - bonus points if golf is something you are interested in.
The role entails wearing many technical hats from architecting to execution
and deployment. You will work with the founder on a daily basis to implement a
high-level vision of the B2C, fantasy gaming product. We are seeking a
collaborator who is resourceful and finds cost-effective solutions. You will
have ownership of the full technical scope of the project.
Edge Fantasy Sports is a pre-seed startup currently fundraising. We envision a
small lean team going to market within 6 to 8 months. We have tested knowledge
of our user base and the core principles of product experience and gameplay.
A few details of the technical expertise we seek:
1. B2C mobile app for iOS/android and a native web application
2. Backend solution: AWS or other options you are more familiar with
3. Security, regulatory compliance and payments would all be major technical infrastructure pieces with potential off-the-shelf solutions available with known fantasy sports affiliated companies.
Features to consider on the tech build-out:
4. Peer-to-peer invite capability.
5. Player data - API calls.
6. User custom league (within a larger contest) creation.
7. User custom contest creation.
8. White-labeled contest creation for partnerships.
