Istari is a quantitative trading firm specialized in building sophisticated
bots to automatically trade assets on financial markets. Our trading bots
trade millions of dollars worth of assets 24/7. Our team consists of highly
skilled data scientists and software developers that are constantly improving
our trading algorithms, doing new research and working on our existing trading
systems. We are a fully remote team spread out over Europe and Asia time
zones.
### About The Role
We are looking for a backend software developer to join our team, specializing
in Python and Rust. We are a small team so you will be working on many
different projects. A large part of our code is written in Rust, while much of
the data science is being done in Python, so being able to help out with both
would be a huge plus.
### Your Key Responsibilities
* Help build various parts of our trading systems: Real time monitoring systems, scrapers, data processors, visualization tools, execution bots
* Design highly reliable systems that stay online even in difficult conditions
* Collaborate with our data scientists to develop and deploy new trading strategies
* Integrate our systems with new exchanges and providers
* Optimize existing code to be faster, more reliable, build out integration/unit tests
### Requirements
* 2+ years experience working as a software developer
* Solid knowledge of Rust and Python
* Ability to write robust, efficient and reliable code
* Good understanding of async programming, multithreading
* Experience with debugging tools, fixing bugs, profiling
* Experience doing performance improvements
* Experience with databases: PostgreSQL, ClickHouse
* Experience with various data science packages in Python is a plus: Pandas, Numba
