### About This Role
Fresh off of our pre-seed funding, we are forming the initial team that will
help establish Bevshop as the leader in B2B alcohol ecommerce.
We're seeking a driven Backend Developer to expand the capabilities of our
initial product and help scale our business.
Working directly with our CPO and CEO, you'll have the opportunity to lead on
projects that will have a direct impact on our growth and the future of our
company.
This is a full-time, contract, and remote role. There is a strong opportunity
to transition to a salaried role with equity if we mutually feel that it's the
right fit.

### What you'll work on:
* Advancing our existing brand-facing ecommerce product (built around Wordpress/WooCommerce) by...
* Developing custom plug-ins to power new ecommerce, marketing, and reporting features
* Implementing new third-party integrations
* Developing infrastructure solutions to streamline our internal processes
* Leading on our retailer-facing product that will become the base component of a larger, yet-to-be-built Bevshop web app. You'll develop integrations with...
* Our WooCommerce product and eventually, new ecommerce extensions (such as Shopify).
* Retailer fulfillment systems (such as ShipStation).
* Stripe, to facilitate custom payment routing solutions.
* Refining and optimizing our tech stack, workflows, and documentation to make us leaner and faster.
### What you'll need
* 5+ years backend development
* Experience with PHP, HTML, CSS (Sass), JS, relational databases, MySQL, Wordpress/WooCommerce REST API, Stripe API, and git.
* Experience with javascript/web app frameworks, such as React, Angular, Vue, Node, Ruby on Rails, and Django. A specific focus on React is ideal.
* Experience writing custom APIs
