**Responsibilities**
* Build out the technology stack powering HotStreak with an emphasis on database design, system scaling, and all-around development.
* Write clean, scalable code with a high degree of autonomy
* Contribute to product and design discussions
* Learn new technologies and frameworks as needed
* Ensure that technology standards and best practices are maintained across the organization
**Skills/Experience**
* Bachelor’s degree in CE or CS is required; applicants with graduate degrees are also welcome.
* 4+ years experience with Ruby on Rails, Postgres/ActiveRecord, etc.
* Experience with Heroku, Redis, GraphQL, SideKiq, RabbitMQ, real-time data processing
* Expert understanding of object-oriented design, polymorphism, inheritance
* Enjoy coding and solving complex problems in clean, concise and extendable ways.
* Comfortable in early-stage, fast-paced, high-growth environments
* Interest in and/or experience with Sports and/or Gaming are ideal but not required
