##### **What You'll be Doing**
* Integrate into the team quickly, deploy often and early
* Manage, launch existing and new applications
* Resolve bugs, provide a high level of support to end users and integrated system stakeholders
* Write short specs, own end-to-end development from scoping to testing
* Write unit tests for the new code that you craft, improve test coverage, follow development standards
* Ensure your code is designed with maintainability in mind
* Work with other software teams to improve system communications and performance
* Participate in design and regular code reviews; helping your colleagues do their best
* Explore and review new technologies, for improvement opportunities
##### **Desired Skills and Experience**
* 3+ years of Python experience; Django is a plus.
* We also write Go, but that’s not expected of you.
* Comfort navigating the command line, especially with git
* Strong and demonstrated data modelling experience with attention to detail
* SQL familiarity; you can hand code moderately complex SQL queries, but only when needed
* Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
* Ability to write documentation clearly and concisely, and to communicate well with non-technical stakeholders
* Experience crafting or working closely with Web/REST/GraphQL APIs
* Understanding of common application stacks (nginx, uwsgi, etc.)
* Knowledge of web standards; excitement about new technologies
