**Position Information:**
Datawiz has an opening for a DevOps Engineer to support one of our largest
Government clients located in the Washington, D.C. area. The successful
candidate will have AWS, Salesforce, and experience.
**Primary Responsibilities:**
* Supporting AWS Cloud solutions and Salesforce PaaS.
* Setting up networks between AWS Infrastructure and on prem (site-site vpn, transit gateway).
* Working in Docker and docker swarm, experience in handling production grade issue with Docker.
* Utilize CI/CD tools including Jenkins and Artifactory like Nexus or ECR.
* Handling P1 Calls (Microsoft Teams) with clients, co-workers, upper management, and other teams.
* Handling setting up Monitoring Frameworks like Prometheus, Grafana, Cloudwatch.
* Setting up SIEM and log aggregation tools like ELK STACK, SPLUNK, etc.
* Managing and supporting SOA based applications.
**Qualifications:**
* At least three years of AWS Cloud experience with hands-on technical DevOps/Cloud engineering.
* Strong knowledge AWS Foundational services such as IAM, EC2, ECS, VPC, S3, RDS.
* Infrastructure as Code experience, such as Terraform.
* Strong experience in Configuration management tools like Ansible.
* Experience with Shell Scripting and Python with modules like BOTO3 and AWSCLI.
* Strong experience in Automating Tasks with Python , shell scripting and Lambda.
* Prefer exposure to Agile environments (use of Jira/Confluence, sprints, etc.)
* Prefer AWS certification, but not required.
* Prefer Salesforce PaaS cloud experience, but not required.
* All applicants must be **United States Citizens.**
* **This position supports a federal government agency that requires a Background Investigation. **The candidate must be able to clear a Public Trust clearance as well in order to commence work. That requires living in the United States for the past three years.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
