As one of the first engineers you'll have a huge contrubution on intial tech
for our self driving robo taxis. You will work closey and mobile and plateform
teams for the seemless Experience. Having shipped software in the space is a
huge plus.
Qualifications
Ph.D. in Computer Science, (or M.S. with at least 3 years of prior
experience.)
Experience developing, understanding and implementing complex algorithms
efficiently and correctly
C++ programming experience required (stdlib, C++11)
Python programming experience required
Development experience in large software systems
3+ years experience using Linux, and development on Linux system
Responsibilities
Collaborate with research and development engineers from different domains
across our autonomous driving platform team (Planning, Fusion, Localization,
Simulation) to create efficient and robust algorithmic solutions
Develop powerful tools, e.g. (large) data visualization, aggregation, and
handling
Transfer state-of-the-art algorithms from our research team to our autonomous
driving platform
Improve and maintain build tool chain
_Mentoring_ definition and implementation of clean code best-practices
Harden implementation
Lead refactoring efforts
