This position requires a hybrid in-office work arrangement with the ability to
work 3 days per week in a UKG office (Lowell – MA, Weston – FL, Atlanta – GA,
Alpharetta – GA, Branchburg – NJ, Montreal – CAN, Toronto - CAN).

Software Engineer, you will contribute directly to the goals of our product

About the Associate Software Engineer Role

You will play a key role in the development of new software products and
features with a keen eye for detail. You will have the opportunity to work
side by side with other members of the engineering team (other Software
Engineers, Test Engineers, and SREs) and members from UX and Product
Management to build the best-in-class products in the market.

Primary Responsibilities:

* Develop, test, build, and deploy coding solutions for both existing legacy systems and new customer features
* Communicate with team members to clarify requirements and solve challenging technical problems
* Support the culture of delivering quality software in a timely manner and continuously improve the development process
* Attend team meetings to provide the status of current work, suggest opportunities for improvements and communicate challenges to ensure cohesion with all team members
* Work with the team in an agile methodology as it relates to software development
* Facilitate and participate in daily code reviews with the team

Qualifications

Required Skills and Qualifications:

* Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related technical discipline or equivalent experience
* Previous internship(s) experience engaging with software/test engineers on enterprise level software development projects
* Understanding of Agile development methodologies or Lean Software Development experience such as Kanban or Scrum
* Well versed in Java/Python/C#, Object Oriented Programming, Data Structures & Algorithms with overall strong technical knowledge
* Ability to work on-site in one of UKG’s office locations a minimum of 3 days per week. Locations include Lowell – MA, Weston – FL, Atlanta – GA, Branchburg – NJ, Montreal – CAN, Toronto - CAN.

* Ability to successfully work within a team and manage a dynamic environment with rapidly changing priorities
* Self-motivation to learn new methodologies that will enhance job performance
* Positive team player attitude with excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Excellent problem-solving abilities
