**THE ROLE**
Due to continued strong performance in the US region we need to increase the
size of our sales team. We are looking for a dynamic, high-performing Account
Executive (AE) with experience selling technology products (ideally SaaS)
remotely using phone, email, and web presentations to deliver the value
proposition. The geographical coverage for this role is the western side of
the US and Canada with the preferred location for the employee being the west
coast of Canada. This is a remote role.
The role would suit an ambitious individual with several years of sales
experience, perhaps as an SDR or junior AE who is looking to step into a full
cycle AE role. The product you will be representing is a market leading
security tool that is simple to use, yet reassuringly complex behind the
scenes. Therefore, the ideal candidate will enjoy learning the technical side
of the product and then engaging in deep consultative conversations with
prospects, who could be anyone, from a small business to a Fortune 100
company.
**WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:**
* Sell Digify products to SMB, mid-market, and occasionally enterprise customers (the enterprise segment is a growing one).
* Develop real connections quickly with prospective customers over phone or video calls.
* Qualify and understand prospective customers’ needs.
* Recommend appropriate solutions acting as a consultant, and conduct live demos if necessary.
* Receive customer feedback and communicate what you learn to the product and marketing teams.
* Capture all customer interactions in CRM (Hubspot), and update trends and statistics to the team.
* Use a structured methodology to qualify your deals and communicate progress using a shared language (MEDDPICC & BANT).
**Requirements**
* A strong track record of successfully selling SaaS or cloud software products
* Strong sales qualification skills
* Can understand and communicate technical concepts clearly and succinctly
* Strong written, verbal, phone, and presentation skills
* Ability to effectively build rapport & trust with customers
* Strong ability to educate and sell at the same time
