Wokelo.ai is a Generative-AI based SAAS startup for business research and
insights, founded in 2022 and headquartered at Seattle. Wokelo is a co-
authoring platform, helps investment and strategy professionals perform
bespoke qualitative analysis at scale. Our platform employs proprietary
NLP/LLM models that have been fine-tuned with 10M+ lines of domain specific
data, embeddings-based search, and self-learning algorithms. Wokelo is an
enterprise grade SAAS platform, focusing on credible, fact-based analysis in
minutes.
The founders come with an overall experience of 20+ years in management
consulting and product development. We are an early stage start-up, with a
small team co-located in the US and India. Our initial users include top tier
investment banks, boutique consulting firms, Fortune 500 corporate strategy
teams.
We are looking for someone to help us scale up the business from 0 to 1.

Qualifications:
* 2+ years of experience in software development. Demonstrated ability to design customer-focused, architecturally robust solutions that provide best-in-class software experiences for our users
* In-depth programming knowledge of Python/Django (proficiency is must have)
* Prior experience in developing a SaaS platform (a plus)
* Prior experience in NLP engineering and building ML models (preferred)
* Prior experience in working with SQL/NoSQL databases is a strong plus
* Hands-on knowledge of a wide range of back-end software technologies, including (but not limited to) some of the following languages and frameworks: 1\. SQL, NoSQL, Elasticsearch 2\. Proficiency with distributed systems built on cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS) 3\. Microservices and serverless architecture. Understanding of Docker, Kubernetes 4\. Tools and Platforms: Jupyter Notebook, Git, Google Analytics, PowerBI (a plus)
* Tech architecture/DevOps background is preferred, not mandatory
* Basic understanding of LLMs, RLHF, transformers, embeddings (preferred)
* Strong understanding of Test Automation and integration of Testing with the development process
* Champion of an engineering culture that emphasizes QA, Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD
* A pragmatic problem-solver who can identify the essence of a problem and deliver simple, elegant solutions to that problem.
* Hustle attitude to be able to deliver and work on several products/features at the same time
Potential for transitioning from a part-time role to a full-time position will
be contingent upon performance.
