Role Overview
As a Swift Developer at WISK.ai, you will join our talented team to develop
and enhance our iOS application and backend systems. This role offers an
exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology in a fun, fully remote
environment.
Responsibilities
iOS Development:
• Develop and maintain our iOS application.
• Work on new features from ideation through to implementation and testing.
• Collaborate with the UX/UI team to ensure the best possible user experience.
Backend Development:
• Develop and maintain backend services primarily in Swift Server Side and
Kotlin.
• Ensure robust, scalable, and efficient backend operations.
• Work on APIs that integrate with the frontend systems and third-party
services.
Team Collaboration:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including DevOps, backend, and
frontend developers.
• Participate in code reviews, provide feedback, and ensure coding standards
are met.
Quality Assurance:
• Implement and oversee rigorous QA processes to maintain the highest
standards of reliability and functionality.
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure the robustness of the code.
Innovation and Growth:
• Foster an environment of continuous improvement and innovation; encourage
the team to explore new technologies and approaches that can enhance our
platform.
Required Qualifications
• Extensive experience in Swift development with a proven track record of
complex iOS apps developed and deployed.
• 5+ years of backend development experience in any development language
• Solid software engineering background with a strong understanding of
microservices architecture and cloud infrastructure.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform and Kubernetes is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Ability to thrive in a startup environment, demonstrating flexibility and a
passion for making an impact.
