Software Development Manager
The office of the CTO at Wipro (Lab45) is focused on developing and growing a
portfolio of assets and platforms based on various emerging technologies and
industry needs. We develop and deliver products that leverage the latest in

Airline Operations Product.
As a Software Development Manager, you will be responsible for providing
technical leadership and leading a team of software developers to design,
develop, and deliver high-quality software solutions. You will have the
technical experrtise to work closely with other members of the development
team to ensure the software development process is effective and efficient.
You will manage the team goals, help drive product strategy and grow people.
This person will work closely with our Platform/Product teams to understand
their requirements/integration and needs to help shape executable projects,
and then see those projects through to completion. The team works on a diverse
technology stack from Node.js, Java, Messaging to Data Warehouse and Workflow
automation.
Responsibilities
* Lead a team of software developers to design, develop, and deliver high-quality software solutions
* Set and communicate priorities to the team as well as partner teams
* Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
* Develop and maintain vision, roadmap, schedules, budgets, and resource plans
* Review code to ensure compliance with architecture and design standards
* Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, setting expectations with team based on their level and role
* Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders, including executives and senior management
* Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software development and apply them to the product
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
* 7+ years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years of experience in a leadership role
* Strong understanding of software design patterns and principles
* 5+ years experience with one or more programming languages and frameworks (Java, Node.js etc)
* Experience with cloud-based architectures and services
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment
* Experience with Agile development methodologies
* Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills
