Weather Source is seeking a dedicated Software Engineer - Full Stack Developer
to join our fast growing company. As a Software Engineer - Full Stack
Developer you will work as part of a broader team to design, create and
maintain client facing and internal facing web based applications. You will
play a key role in everything from expanding and improving our current
applications, to developing novel weather centric applications that will
create more value for our clients. Your initial project will be taking
ownership of an existing React-based weather app.
##### **Required Qualifications:**
* 3-5 years of experience as a Software Engineer - Full Stack Developer.
* Bachelor’s degree in computer science/software development related degree or STEM degree.
* Proficient with TypeScript.
* Proficient with Full Stack Development in GCP.
* Familiarity with common stacks and specifically PERN (PostgreSQL, Express, React, Node.js).
* Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g., HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery).
* Knowledge of multiple back-end languages (e.g., C#, Java, Python) and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Angular, React, Node.js).
* Familiarity with common GCP databases, web servers (e.g., Apache) and UI/UX design.
* Excellent communication skills.
##### **Preferred:**
* Prefer that you are able to work in our offices at Salem NH, exceptional candidates may be able to work remotely.
* Experience with libraries such as Axios, fp-ts, Leaflet, Material UIi, Passport, PM2, Ramda, Redis, Snowflake SDK and snowflake-promise, and Stripe.
* STEM background and an interest in weather.
