Your role will include a combination of:
* Designing and implementing shared data and modeling infrastructure
* Optimizing ML training throughput, resource utilization, and research velocity
* Collaborating with teams across Waymo perception and research
* Building tools for automation
Minimum experience, skills, and attributes:
* MS or equivalent work experience
* Skilled at Python and C++
* Experience working with ML models and modeling infrastructure
* Experience shipping production software in a team environment
Preferred experience, skills, and attributes required for the position:
* Experience with data processing
* Experience working with autonomous vehicles
* Experience working with ML perception
The expected base salary range for this full-time position across US locations
is listed below. Actual starting pay will be based on job-related factors,
including exact work location, experience, relevant training and education,
and skill level. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range
for the role location or, if the role can be performed remote, the specific
salary range for your preferred location, during the hiring process.

$187,000—$233,000 USD
