**Responsibilities**
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements.
* Design and develop scalable and efficient backend solutions using Python and PostgreSQL.
* Build intuitive and responsive user interfaces using JavaScript/TypeScript.
* Implement and maintain RESTful APIs for seamless data communication.
* Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure smooth application performance.
* Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality.
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies to drive innovation.
**Qualifications**
* Strong experience in backend development using Python.
* Proficiency in working with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases.
* Solid understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks.
* Familiarity with web development concepts (HTML, CSS, etc.).
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
* Option 1: BS degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 3 years' experience in software engineering or related area
* Option 2: 5 years' experience in software engineering or related area
**Recommended Skills & Experiences**
* Experience working with healthcare data, particularly claims data, is strongly recommended.
* Experience with graph databases such as Neo4j.
* Background in data engineering and analytics.
* Experience with BI Dashboards, such as AWS QuickSight.
* Knowledge of AWS DevOps practices and tools.
