We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Full Stack Engineer
with expertise in React and AWS to join our dynamic engineering team.
Our Perth Professional Services team within the Digital Experience &
Modernisation squad is growing. Leveraging off the work our engineering teams
are already doing here in Perth, our Application Development practice is on
the hunt for seasoned Full-Stack Developers to join the team with AWS
serverless experience, typescript and strong Frontend React.js skills.
The role's immediate focus will be on transforming a major Tier 1 landscape to
provide cutting edge digital experiences to its customers and making changes
that matter for generations to come.
##### **Responsibilities:**
* Architect, design, and develop complex web applications using React.js for the frontend and Node.js or Python for the backend.
* Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate business requirements into technical specifications and create intuitive user interfaces.
* Build reusable components and libraries for future use, ensuring high-quality and scalable code.
* Implement responsive designs and optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability.
* Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices using AWS services, such as AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and DynamoDB.
* Implement and maintain secure authentication and authorization mechanisms for user access control.
* Monitor and optimize application performance, troubleshoot and resolve issues, and ensure high availability and reliability.
* Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior engineers to improve overall team performance.
* Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices, and share knowledge with the team.
##### **Requirements:**
* Proven experience as a Full Stack Engineer, with a focus on React.js and AWS.
* Strong proficiency in JavaScript and modern web technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design.
* Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and working with backend frameworks (Node.js or Python).
* In-depth knowledge of React.js and its core principles, as well as popular state management libraries (e.g., Redux, MobX).
* Expertise in AWS services, particularly AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and S3.
* Familiarity with serverless architecture and deployment using AWS CloudFormation or similar tools.
* Solid understanding of database concepts and experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
* Proficiency in version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies.
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug and optimize code for performance.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
