Velvet is hiring a senior level software engineer. We're working on a fully-
fledged digital financial analyst powered by language models, are VC backed,
and have seen some amazing commercial traction.
What is Velvet?
Velvet is the digital copilot for private markets, almost entirely removing
the need for an investor to manually input data and analyze companies. We've
built AI tools designed for instantly extracting information out of documents
and emails, and a generative workspace on top of that - building the first
true digital financial analyst.
What would this position entail?
* write high quality code
* Design and build services and integrations for LLM pipelines, prompt tuning and engineering, benchmarking, and RAG for various generative AI use-cases
* Take ownership of development, testing, improvement, and deployment of a wide variety of features across Velvet’s platforms
* Design scalable and reliable software systems
* Experiment and research solutions to challenging problems, and optimize existing systems
* work on the cutting edge of LLM applications
* Work with our development team of 7-10 people
* Building user-facing features with a high attention to detail
* Contribute domain expertise to the team, and act as a mentor to others to share your technical knowledge
* Write clean, high-quality, high-performance, maintainable code
