We are seeking a talented and motivated Backend Developer Intern to join our
dynamic team. The successful candidate will have a passion for coding, a
strong foundation in Python and Django, and a desire to learn and grow as a
developer. As a Backend Developer Intern, you will work closely with our
development team to help build and improve our backend infrastructure and
systems.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with the development team to design, develop, and test backend features and systems using Python and Django
* Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
* Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of best practices and coding standards
* Work with other teams to integrate backend systems with frontend applications and APIs
* Troubleshoot and debug issues with existing systems and infrastructure
* Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in backend development
Requirements:
* Current enrollment in a Computer Science, Engineering, or related program
* Strong foundation in Python and Django, with experience in developing web applications
* Understanding of object-oriented programming concepts and design patterns
* Experience with version control systems, such as Git
* Familiarity with SQL databases, such as PostgreSQL or MySQL
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with other backend technologies, such as Flask or Node.js
* Familiarity with cloud platforms, such as AWS or Google Cloud
* Knowledge of software testing methodologies, such as unit testing and integration testing
* Understanding of Agile development methodologies
