UPG is looking for a SQL Server Database Developer. This person will analyze,
interpret data, support, troubleshoot, and develop database objects to drive
key operational decisions. The Developer will work closely with project
managers and technical leads (both technical and nontechnical) to answer
complex business question. This person will report into our Data Services
Manager.
##### **Primary Duties and Responsibilities**
* Collect, interpret and analyze data with statistical methodology
* Develop and generate stored procedures and queries across multiple data sources
* Identify and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
* Work closely with business leaders and end users to support their analysis and data needs.
* Troubleshoot and resolve data-related bugs and issues.
##### **Position Requirements**
* Bachelorβs Degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field
* 5 years of experience in T-SQL (queries, stored procedures, triggers, functions, views, tables, constraints, etc), and SQL server administration
* 5 years of relevant data analysis work experience
* 3 years of experience in Database Design and SQL server performance tuning
* 1+ years of experience with Python
* Strong troubleshooting skills
* Proficiency in MS Excel
* Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
* Strong analytical skills with an attention to detail and accuracy
* **Must reside in the IL area**
