Overview

True Impact is an innovative and rapidly growing social impact measurement and
reporting platform for the charitable sector. Fortune 1000 companies like
eBay, Loweโ€™s, PepsiCo, and Toyota, and their nonprofit partners, use the True
Impact web platform to quantify the social impact of their grants,
volunteerism, and other philanthropic investments, to demonstrate success and
identify opportunities for improvement.

Having established traction as an early stage B2B SaaS company, we are seeking
an experienced and entrepreneurial sales professional -- with demonstrated
enthusiasm for the philanthropic/social responsibility sector -- to help us
scale.

The Head of Sales will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our sales
strategy. This position is responsible for managing and optimizing an emerging
sales team while also actively engaging in direct selling to prospects. The
ideal candidate will have a strong background in B2B SaaS sales, a proven
track record of exceeding sales targets, and the ability to inspire and lead a
team to success.

Responsibilities

1. Sales Leadership
2. Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue and growth targets.
3. Lead, coach, and mentor a small sales team of SDRs and AEs, fostering a high-performance culture.
4. Set clear sales targets and KPIs, and regularly monitor and report on team performance.
5. Conduct regular team meetings, training sessions, and performance evaluations to ensure continuous improvement.

6. Revenue Growth

7. Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects and clients to understand and meet their needs, to drive new and expansion ARR.

8. Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and negotiations to close opportunities generated by our inside sales team.

9. Meet or exceed team sales quotas

10. Participate in industry events as well as brand building and business development efforts.

11. Sales Strategy and Optimization

12. Collaborate with the executive team to refine and execute the sales strategy.

13. Identify market trends and opportunities for growth, and provide insights for product development.

14. Optimize sales processes, workflows, and CRM utilization for efficiency, scalability, and data-driven decision-making.

15. Collaborate closely with marketing, product, and social impact (client success) teams drive product development, sales and marketing collateral and strategies, and high-NPS customer relationships

16. Sales Operations

17. Develop and manage sales budgets, forecasts, and pipeline reports.

18. Monitor and manage the sales funnel, ensuring a healthy pipeline of opportunities.

19. Collaborate with marketing to align lead generation efforts with sales objectives.

20. Ensure accurate and timely reporting of sales metrics and performance to the executive team.

Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA is a plus.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
* Demonstrated ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial, collaborative, and remote environment
* A self-starter with a results-oriented mindset and a passion for technology and innovation.
* 10+ years strategic sales experience, and at least 3 years in a senior management role. 5+ years SaaS/software sales experience selling into Fortune 500 organizations. Experiences within the social impact sector is preferred.
* A versatile player-coach, with a track record of leading and developing both sales and business development representatives.
* Experience scaling an inside sales operation to sell to large corporate organizations with an extended sales cycle and deal size in the $75,000 - $400,000 range.
* Experience with an initial-scaling environment (from initial traction to $10M+).
* Commitment to exceed client expectations and contribute to a high level of client satisfaction as measured through NPS.
* Ability to plan and manage at both the strategic and operational levels, with a data-driven and analytic approach to decisionmaking
* Experience with sales management technologies (e.g., HubSpot)
* The ability to work with a primarily EST time zone
