**As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer with us you will:**
* Utilize your deep knowledge of cloud infrastructure APIs (VM, Storage, S3 and so on) to develop the foundation for our enterprise SaaS platform for data management.
* Contribute to the team charter to build and operate a highly scalable and resilient Application/Database Infrastructure.
* Utilize your deep experience and problem solving skills to help prevent and resolve production issues.
* Plan and lead complicated technical projects that interact with a wide variety of teams within the company.
**Our ideal Cloud Infrastructure Engineer will have:**
* BS/CS, MS/CS or equivalent.
* At least 2+ years in cloud computing (AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI). Knowledge of infrastructure APIs on cloud platforms such as EC2/VM/Bare Metal/Containers, Storage/EBS/Volumes, Network/VPC/Subnet, Network Interfaces, etc.
* Strong coding skills in scripting languages like _ **Python**_ and bash.
* Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible or Chef or Puppet)
* Experience in working/building on distributed systems, APIs, cloud computing.
* Effective communication and collaboration skills.
* Solid interpersonal skills conducive to a team environment.
* Able to debug, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues.
* Self-driven & motivated, with a strong work ethic and a passion for problem solving.
* Strong sysadmin background, demonstrated knowledge of Linux OS is a plus.
* Experience in a platform or dev-ops team in a SaaS environment and supporting mission critical services is a plus.
* Experience and knowledge of Git, JIRA, and Jenkins is a plus.
* Experience with Java coding skills is a plus.
