Job Description

Televeda is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team
as a Digital Navigator. In this role, you will be responsible for teaching
digital literacy skills to older adults, empowering them to confidently
navigate the digital world. We welcome technology evangelists who may have had
prior work experience as a junior developer, product manager or community-dev
advocate. We are looking for candidates who have experience in technical
support roles and working with seniors.

The ideal candidate will also have a valid driver's license, access to a
functioning vehicle, and be a resident of Arizona. While this position is
fully remote, it also involves travel across all counties in Arizona.

Candidates should possess a friendly and open personality, and exhibit
exceptional patience. We are looking for someone with strong technical chops
and also an interpersonal personality to help educate & empower our members.

**Responsibilities** :

* Provide one-on-one and group training sessions to older adults, focusing on digital literacy skills, including basic computer use, internet navigation, email communication, social media, and online safety.
* Tailor teaching methods to accommodate varying levels of digital proficiency among learners, ensuring effective learning experiences.
* Serve as a patient and understanding mentor, offering guidance and support to individuals facing challenges in adapting to digital technology.
* Provide technical support, troubleshooting issues, and providing technical assistance to clients as needed, both in person and via our support platform (email, chat, phone).
* Support product & community team with Quality Assurance reviews of the platform.
* Travel to tabling events, client locations, and other administrative duties as required, on a regular basis.
* Instructional Design: Lead the design & development of technical documentation and support collateral such as fliers, tutorials, videos, etc.
* Collaborate with the team to develop content and implement digital literacy workshops and programs.
* Keep up-to-date with the latest digital trends and tools to enhance teaching methods and curriculum.
* Support the Televeda Team as needed in advancing our mission to reduce social isolation; collaborate and step-in as needed.
* Attention to detail for managing data-reporting and project analytics

**Requirements** :

* 4-5 years of professional work experience in a customer tech support or community management role.
* AZ Residency: Arizona residency is a requirement for this position.
* Previous experience working with seniors, low-income or minority-populations and a demonstrated ability to connect with older adults effectively.
* Friendly, patient, and open personality with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Valid driver's license and access to a reliable, functioning vehicle for travel to client locations and events.
* Proficiency in digital technologies, including video-streaming, video-editing, graphic-design, automations, etc.
* Teaching capability: Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and levels of digital literacy.
* Strong organizational skills and ability to handle administrative tasks efficiently.
* Candidate should successfully clear a background check

**Interview** :
Please be prepared to share a portfolio of relevant technical support work
such as support documentation, collateral designs, written or social content,
no-code/low-code projects, etc.
