**Role Overview:**
The ideal candidate will design and develop websites on platforms like
WordPress and Shopify, handle custom web development projects, and execute SEO
strategies. They will also manage social media marketing on Facebook,
Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn. Strong design skills, SEO knowledge, and
mobile responsiveness are essential. Additionally, the candidate should
provide affordable and fast hosting solutions.
Projects can vary widely in scope and scale. The candidate must be available
to work in the PST timezone. You will also be expected to manage the Tech In A
Tux website.
**Key Responsibilities:**
**Website Design & Development:**
* Design and develop websites using WordPress, Wix, and Shopify.
* Handle custom web development projects with robust and scalable solutions.
* Implement and maintain the company’s tech stack, including Flutter app development, MySQL, MongoDB, Node.js, Express.js, Vue.js, Tailwind CSS, and Next.js.
* Ensure websites are SEO friendly, speedy, and mobile-responsive. All projects must follow UX/UI best practices.
* Conduct content audits and refresh content to address customer pain points.
**SEO & Digital Marketing:**
* Optimize websites for SEO (content, meta tags, backlink building).
* Manage social media marketing campaigns on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
* Implement targeted email campaigns to nurture and convert leads.
* Manage Google My Business and Google Search Console to improve local SEO and monitor site performance.
* Develop cohesive social media strategies to increase brand visibility and engagement.
**Hosting Solutions:**
* Provide fast and affordable hosting solutions, ensuring reliable uptime and performance.
**Collaboration & Continuous Improvement:**
* Collaborate with the Tech In A Tux team to align with company goals and client needs.
* Stay updated with the latest web design trends, SEO best practices, and social media strategies.
* Review and utilize sales documents and sample emails to boost sales performance.
* Conduct competitive analysis to stay ahead in the market.
**Key Skills & Competencies:**
* Proficient in WordPress and Shopify development.
* Experience with custom web development projects.
* Strong understanding of onsite and offsite SEO.
* Expertise in social media marketing across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
* Familiarity with Google My Business and Google Search Console.
* Keen attention to detail and a creative eye for design.
* Knowledge of mobile responsiveness and UX/UI best practices.
* Ability to provide fast, reliable, and affordable hosting services.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills.
