**Company vision**
studyOS is a seed-funded startup building the data and AI platform for the
life sciences industry. We’re automating the process of analyzing clinical
trial data to keep patients safe, ensure rules and regulations are being
followed, and bring drugs to market faster.
We are currently building an e2e data analytics and issue workflow product for
clinical trials. Our product:
* ingests structured and unstructured data from several clinical trial operational systems
* maps the data to a proprietary, domain-specific data model
* runs a vast array of proprietary issue detection algorithms and reports using SQL, generative AI, proprietary models, and logic programming
* presents the cleaned data, reports, visualizations, and identified issues to users in a custom web app designed for clinical trials
* allows users to collaborate on and manage the end-to-end issue lifecycle

**Responsibilities**
* You will create the technology strategy for the company, including infrastructure, the data platform, the full-stack application, AI, and security and compliance.
* You will help shape the product roadmap.
* You will be involved in top-level business decision-making from an engineering point of view.
* You will be a technical lead for the engineering team, including ensuring features are shipped on time, leading standups, and coming up with solutions to unblock the team.
* You will be a full-stack OR data engineering individual contributed as needed.
* You will hire and onboard engineers as needed in the future.
**Skills and requirements**
* Looking to be a key contributor to an early-stage startup at this point in your life
* 5+ years of being a lead, manager, or equivalent at a seed-stage or series A startup
* Strong backend/full-stack OR data engineering development experience
* Experience with enterprise software
* Being a good people person
* Must be a hard worker
* Must be intellectually curious
* Must be able to learn about and make decisions as needed regarding full-stack, data engineering, infrastructure, and security and compliance.
* Structured and goal-oriented operator.
* Ideally:
* Has experience with infrastructure
* Has experience with security and compliance
* Has founder or CXO experience
