Hello! We're Streamlane, an AI-driven shipping optimization platform. We
recently raised our seed round to build the go-to shipping solution for large
ecommerce brands. We're looking for a founding engineer & we'd love for you to
join us.
**Who we are**
* We have a strong background in engineering, operations and finance. [Mikhail](https://www.linkedin.com/in/mikhailulinich/) grew IPSY's (world's leading beauty subscription co) engineering org from inception to unicorn, [Julie](https://www.linkedin.com/in/julie-kierszenbaum/) ran IPSY's shipping operations and [Laure](https://www.linkedin.com/in/laure-kierszenbaum/) worked with various ecommerce brands on operational expansion projects
* We’ve lived this problem personally and know the space very well
* We're based in New York and California
**Why this will be fun**
* We signed several large ecommerce customers in the first 6 weeks of launching our MVP so you’ll be hitting the ground running
* The market is at an interesting inflection point: shipping costs are at an all-time high, focus on margins are a top priority and the opportunity to impact the sustainability of our customers' business is substantial
* There is SO much to build and the market wants this. We dare you to ask any large ecommerce brand how they feel about their shipping operations processes 🙂
* We're building logistics software for ecommerce companies which means we're interacting with some of the coolest brands and are hugely focused on UX
**Is this you?**
* You have several years of experience, including in: databases, data architecture, API design & integration, AWS services, Node.js and constrained optimization
* You're equally excited about collaborating with the founding team on strategic product decisions as you are about building out our products from scratch
* You're ambitious and passionate about this stuff. We have big plans so we'll need your stamina as we want you with us long term!
* Experience in the supply chain space, SaaS product development, data warehousing and team leadership are great, but not required
