**About Us** : StorageTrader is a dynamic and innovative startup focused on
revolutionizing the commercial real estate sector, with a specific emphasis on
the self-storage industry. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced
Business Development Manager to join our team and drive our sales growth.

**Position Overview:** As a Business Development Manager at StorageTrader, you
will play a critical role in expanding our market presence and driving revenue
growth. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in commercial real
estate, particularly within the self-storage industry, and a strong history of
closing deals. You will be responsible for taking clients on both sides of the
marketplace through the full sales cycle, from initial contact to closing,
including driving pitches and developing strategies to achieve our sales
objectives.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the commercial real estate market, with a focus on the self-storage sector.
* Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market share.
* Take clients through the full sales cycle, from initial contact to closing, including driving pitches and negotiating terms.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.
* Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and potential opportunities.
* Collaborate with internal teams to align sales strategies with business goals and ensure seamless execution of projects.
* Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and reports to clients and senior management.
* Participate in industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote StorageTrader and generate leads.

**Qualifications:**

* Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the commercial real estate industry.
* Demonstrated experience and success in the self-storage sector is highly desirable.
* Proven track record of closing deals and achieving sales targets.
* Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
* Proficiency in CRM software, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Office Suite.
