**ROLE**
Stardust seeks a senior software engineer to join our engineering team and
help build our gaming infrastructure and adtech product offerings.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
* Be a key contributor to our ads product leveraging machine learning and building a data processing system
* Mentor junior team members on best practices to approaching large ambiguous problems
* Use and promote communicable paradigms such as SOLID to improve team and product quality
* Migrate legacy systems to a scalable maintainable state
**QUALIFICATIONS**
* 5+ years of industry experience building distributed and scalable backend systems
* 2+ years of Adtech experience, especially working on a demand side platform (DSP) a HUGE PLUS
* Proficient in a backend language such as Javascript / Typescript on Node.js, Python, or other relevant languages
* Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent
* Proficient knowledge of Postgres (AWS Aurora), Redis
* Experience with distributed systems and relational databases
* Ability to write high-quality, well-tested code
* Experience using design patterns and other engineering best practices
* Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions
* Deal well with ambiguous/undefined problems; ability to think abstractly
* Ability to add code quality tools to systems e.g. linters, static analysis, profilers, remote debuggers
* Ability to synthesize requirements underlying feature requests, recommend alternative technical and business approaches, and facilitate engineering efforts to meet aggressive timelines

* Passion for web3 and / or games
* High level understanding of blockchain
