Solo is the operating system for the 75m+ app-based gig workers to manage
their business and maximize their earnings potential. Solo tracks data across
multiple platforms to provide city-level pay and performance benchmarks,
including hour-by-hour earnings predictions that Solo guarantees, making up
the difference if pay is less.

**What you will do**
We are looking for a senior software engineer who can help Solo come up with
cutting edge user experiences appealing to millions of customers. We are
looking for someone who loves the challenge of continuous development, adding
exciting new features to a product that ships several times a day! They will
work on creating snappy and delightful user experiences, by collaborating with
engineers building core services, as well as designers and business/product
team. The ideal candidate will jump into the backend, be ready to work the
full stack, specially when it comes to debugging and bug fixing.
**Qualifications**
* Experience building a consumer mobile app that has to work in non-ideal conditions (lack of data connectivity, low power, etc)
* Knowledge of Ruby on Rails, React Native, Javascript, AWS, Sentry, xCode and Redis
* Proven ability to deliver features and create frameworks based on customer learnings, UI/UX testing, etc.
* Capable of debugging and root-cause distributed systems
* Understanding of mobile build systems, automating builds, build submissions
* Background in package management and verification
* Familiarity with app performance and metric monitoring (ex: Sentry)
