**Sr. to Lead React Native Engineer - IoT Startup**
**Location: you can either work remotely or in the company's office in Ann
Arbor, MI**
The company's product is a consumer mobile app for vehicles. You would be
working heavily with bluetooth and similar IoT technologies.
The company has raised $10 million in funding, has about 23 employees and 14
engineers and is growing rapidly.
You could be leading 2 engineers on day 1, and 4-6 engineers within 1 year.
The company will pay competitive salary plus equity which could be very
lucrative.
**Job Responsibilities:**
\- Building novel features in the mobile app.
\- Formulating code and libraries with reusability in mind.
\- Optimizing application for scalability and speed.
\- Debugging, profiling, and pinpointing rendering bottlenecks.
\- Bridging visual design and its technical implementation.
\- Determining the appearance and functionality of applications.
\- Turning UI/UX design wireframes into code.
\- Collaborating closely with the product management team to guide product
direction.
**Qualifications:**
\- Passion for the impact of decentralized technology.
\- Strong CS fundamentals.
\- At least 2 years (preferably more) of professional experience building
mobile applications.
\- Strong in at least one of: 1) React Native (best), 2) iOS or Android.
Willing to learn (if necessary) and primarily use React Native.
\- Experience with Javascript frameworks such as React Native, Redux, Angular,
and Vue.
\- Experience doing agile software development.
\- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
**Nice to have:**
\- Experience in IoT, Bluetooth, Mobility, Connected Devices, Consumer
Electronics, or Automotive products.
