### About the Role:
Our early-stage startup is dedicated to developing advanced security solutions
that prevent tragedies in educational facilities, entertainment venues, and
workplaces. It was created by a second-time founder, whose previous startup
grew to multiple millions in revenue and was acquired by a strategic buyer.
Your job will be to build and improve detection models that could be the
difference between safety and tragedy.
### Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement cutting-edge detection models using YOLO algorithms, focusing on high accuracy and real-time performance while reducing false positives.
* Optimize YOLO models for diverse environments to ensure robust and reliable threat detection under various conditions.
* Work closely with a dynamic team to integrate advanced computer vision capabilities into our existing cameras.
### Requirements:
* Extensive experience with computer vision and deep learning, particularly with YOLO algorithms, in a professional setting.
* A minimum of 3 years of experience in developing and deploying real-time detection models.
* Proficiency in deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch, with a strong emphasis on YOLO.
* Ability to lead the team and become a full-time CTO over time.
### Compensation:
Very flexible. You can decide whether you want a competitive salary, high
equity or a combination of both.
