**Position Description**

Sigma360 is seeking an experienced Product Owner to operate as a mission
manager for watchlist screening within our Sigma360 platform. The ideal
candidate will bring a blend of expertise in watchlist screening for customer
due diligence purposes including sanctions, PEP and adverse media screening
and the ability to function effectively in a software development environment.
The Product Owner, Watchlist Screening will provide definitive expertise in
watchlist screening for customer due diligence, financial crime, and KYC / AML
compliance purposes.

**Role & Responsibilities**

* Lead and perform testing and validation of screening-related models, including name matching logic.
* Write and refine detailed business requirements for the development team.
* Manage and update client-facing and internal model validation documentation.
* Engage with clients and prospects to gather feedback and ensure our software exceeds market needs and offers innovative solutions.
* Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to develop effective communication strategies and materials that accurately represent the product's capabilities and benefits.
* Provide expert guidance and support during client onboarding and post-sale to ensure successful product adoption and customer satisfaction.

**What We Seek**

* Proven Expertise in Watchlist Screening: Demonstrated knowledge and experience in name screening, sanctions, and PEP screening within KYC/AML contexts.
* Data Analysis Capabilities: Proven ability to review and extract insights from data, typically in spreadsheet format.
* Software Development Lifecycle Acumen: Ability to work effectively within a software development environment, demonstrating an understanding of the software lifecycle and how compliance operations and usability needs integrate with technology solutions.
* Strategic Thinking and Vision: Capability to not only understand but also anticipate the evolving landscape of financial crime compliance and how it impacts our product.
* Exceptional Communication Skills: Proficiency in articulating complex compliance requirements to a variety of stakeholders, including technical teams, sales, and clients.
* Innovative Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong analytical skills with a knack for identifying and creatively solving complex compliance and usability problems.

**Candidate Qualifications**

* Required: Minimum of 3 years in roles focused on watchlist screening, customer due diligence, or KYC/AML compliance operations. This experience should include hands-on work with complex compliance processes and systems.
* Preferred: Deep familiarity with name and transaction screening operations within large financial institutions. This includes a comprehensive understanding of various screening types, such as sanction, PEP, and adverse media checks, and their application in a compliance context.
* Beneficial: Practical experience in setting up or managing continuous customer monitoring systems, along with a strong grasp of the principles and practices of customer due diligence. This includes the ability to integrate these processes into broader compliance frameworks effectively.
