## **About the Role**

Sibros’ Data Platform team is building one of the core products that offers
OTA (over-the-air) data collection to a fleet of vehicles and provides AI
powered insights into fleet data analytics. This game changing product will
bring automobile manufacturers the ability to access realtime data on millions
scale fleets and take actions efficiently on advanced insights Sibros
provides.

We are building a large-scale data real time system to handle billions of
events per day coming from millions of vehicles and build data driven
applications on top of that. Our platform has demanding requirements in
latency, efficiency and scalability. As a part of the team, you will have
hands-on experience to work on large scale distributed systems in real-time
data infrastructure leveraging various open source technologies.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

* Participate in day to day coding, design discussion and product development
* Define road map and technical directions for one or multiple teams
* Grow the team by actively engaging in sourcing, interviewing and closing candidates
* Coordinate and collaborate with other teams in the companies to create alignment
* Represent Sibros and lead conversations with external customers, to collect requirements or provide solutions

## Minimum Qualifications

* Familiar with multiple technical stacks around data: storage, data warehouse, streaming, machine learning, AI, etc.
* 8+ years of technical experience in the technical industry
* 3+ years of experience in managing and technically leading a group of engineers
* Hands-on coding and able to provide technical contribution/development in day to day work
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills with positive energy
* Interested in the “people side” of contribution. E.g. recruiting, career development
* Willingness to wear multiple hats and adapt to a fast-paced startup environment
* Passionate about the vision and mission of the company, and interested in solving challenging problems in the automotive IoT domain

## Preferred Qualifications

* Familiar with various open source technologies (e.g. Druid, Kafka, Flink, Databricks, Spark), and a good understanding of the trade-offs among them
* Experience in building teams in startups from scratch
* Experience in the public cloud and cloud-native technologies. E.g. Kinesis, Bigquery, Beam, Dataflow
* Experience in working on large scale systems
* Great track record in execution.
* Lead and develop products from beginning to end
* Product development experience in the automotive / IoT industry
* Extensive experience in working across different time zones

## Additional Information

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $180,000.00 -
$240,000.00 + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role and
level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and
maximum range for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations.
Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors including job-
related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Please note
that the compensation details listed in US role postings reflect the base
salary only, and do not include equity, benefits, or any discretionary bonus
components.
