ShuPlug is looking for an enthusiastic **Senior Software Engineer** (and
sneakerhead) to join our rapidly growing startup. We are building an ecosystem
around sneaker shopping, serving as the medium between sneaker stores and
sneakerheads all around the globe.
The primary focus of this role will be to design, and architect systems for
the ShuPlug technology platform, serving as the foundation of our roadmap.
The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience understanding and using:
-Database architectures
-Backend language of your choice
-Microservices/AWS
-Building API endpoints
-Consuming third party API data
-Understanding and developing for scalability (modular, component-based systems)
-HTML
-CSS
-Javascript
-Ability to learn new software and technologies quickly
-Detail-oriented
Preferred skills:
-C++
-Experience building an application from the ground up
-Experience working with AWS, Stripe, React, Gatsby
-Managing and leading engineers in some capacity
This role will get to work directly with our CTO. You will play a vital role
in building the foundation of our product. We are excited to change the game
