**Key Responsibilities:**
Design, develop, and maintain robust database systems to support our growing
data needs.
Optimize database performance, ensuring efficient data retrieval and query
execution.
Implement data security and privacy best practices to protect sensitive
financial information.
Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to develop data pipelines and
ETL processes.
Troubleshoot database issues and implement solutions to maintain system
stability.
Stay up-to-date with the latest database technologies and industry trends.
**Required Skills and Experience:**
* 2-5 years of experience in database engineering or a related field.
* Strong proficiency in SQL and at least one NoSQL database (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).
* Experience with cloud-based database services (AWS, GCP, Azure).
* Knowledge of data modeling and database design principles.
* Proficiency in Python or other programming languages.
* Understanding of data warehousing and ETL processes.
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
Experience with financial data and regulatory compliance.
Knowledge of data governance and data quality best practices.
Experience with data visualization tools.
