Job Description
As an Engineer for Rockwell Automation, you will have the opportunity to
design, lead, organize processes and best practices to facilitate effective
functional regression test planning, execution, result collating, anomaly
triage, and reporting.

**Essential Functions**
* Designs and develops tools, processes, and best practices to facilitate functional test regression.
* Communicates design and test strategy through demonstrations, hands-on tutorials and technical documentation.
* Interacts with Rockwell automation software, hardware, and firmware products in physical and virtualized lab environments
* Maintains documentation, databases, and processes.
* Triage regression results.
* Prioritize and execute multiple activities in parallel.
* Work closely with product teams to ensure proper test coverage and timelines.
* Clearly communicates and conveys concepts, both verbally and written.
* Able to learn and understand complex automation and control system concepts.
* Leverages own expertise by sharing lessons learned, documenting processes, conducting team de-briefs, etc.
**Basic Qualifications**
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering is preferred.
* Typically requires 2 years of experience in Test Engineering, Software or Applications Engineering, DevOps, Technical Support, Quality Assurance role, or other SDLC engineering role
* Working knowledge of Python, Java, PowerShell, or other scripting languages
* Experience with Rest API’s or custom web services is desired
* Proficient in Windows operating systems
* Able to apply knowledge of software development and test methodologies
* Must exhibit strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
* Experience with standard version control systems - Git
* Knowledge of test case management and execution tools
* Knowledge of Agile principles, tools and techniques is desired
* Experience with Rockwell Automation products or other industrial control equipment
