The lead engineer position at RestAssured MD is a critical role responsible
for leading the technical strategy and direction of the company. We are
looking for a full-stack engineer with a proven record of success to spearhead
the development of our digital health platform. You will be the project lead
for the tech build and will serve as a vital member of our executive team for
the long-term. In the long-term, you will also be responsible for overseeing
all technical aspects of the company, including technical product development,
research and development, and technology infrastructure.

* _Job Responsibilities: *_
* Develop and implement a technical vision and strategy that aligns with the overall goals of the company.
* Lead the product development process, ensuring that the final product meets the needs of the target market.
* Manage and lead a team of engineers and other technical staff, providing mentorship and guidance to help them reach their full potential.
* Stay up-to-date on the latest developments in technology and identify opportunities for the company to incorporate new technologies or tools to improve efficiency and competitiveness.
* Work with compliance officer to ensure RestAssured MD meets all technical standards related to healthcare regulations, including HIPAA compliance.
* Collaborate with other departments, such as sales, marketing and customer support, to ensure that the technical capabilities of the company are being effectively communicated to customers and other stakeholders.
* Act as a spokesperson for the company on technical matters.
* Establish and manage the technology budget and other financial metrics related to the technical operations of the company.
* Continuously improve the software development process and delivery quality
* _The ideal candidate will have: *_
* Experience as a full-stack engineer designing both front-end and back-end platforms from the bottom up.
* A proven track record of leading technical teams and delivering successful products.
* Strong passion for joining a start-up that is on a mission to reduce health inequity
* Experience working in the healthcare sector, building solutions for healthcare companies. This includes experience with interoperability, HIPAA compliance, and EHR/EMR integrations.
* Strong experience with multiple programming languages and technologies, and a deep understanding of software development best practices.
* An extensive background in computer science or a related field.
* Experience working with and managing a team of engineers.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced start-up environment with the ability to make decisions quickly and open to taking on new tasks
* Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
