Job Description:
We are looking for a Backend Engineer with a strong background in server-side
code, particularly within the property management domain. The ideal candidate
will have a deep understanding of various property management software systems
and will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining
integrations between these systems and our tools.
Key Responsibilities:
* Integration Development: Design, develop, and maintain integrations between multiple property management software platforms and our tools.
* API Management: Work extensively with APIs (both RESTful and SOAP) to enable seamless data exchange between systems.
* Collaboration: Collaborate closely with product management, engineering, and customer success teams to understand integration requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
* Troubleshooting: Identify, diagnose, and resolve integration-related issues to ensure smooth and reliable operation.
* Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for all integrations, ensuring clarity and consistency for future maintenance and upgrades.
* Testing: Develop and execute testing plans to ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of integrations.
* Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve the integration process and the performance of our tools.
Qualifications:
* Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
* Experience:
* 3+ years of experience in software integration, with a focus on property management software.
* Proven experience with API development and management (RESTful, SOAP).
* Familiarity with property management systems such as Rent Manger, Yardi, AppFolio, RealPage, or similar.
* Experience integrating with the above platforms
Technical Skills:
* Proficiency in backend frameworks, especially Django
* Experience with mysql and database management.
* Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is an advantage.
* Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
