**About us**

We are an early-stage startup (Seed Round secured) in Crypto / AI that aims to
monetize scientific research, datasets and other kinds of IP through
marketplaces tailored to AI companies that seek to acquire quality data for
training. Our platform offers ways to participate in the AI economy without
compromising the data, keeping it private (hence PrivateAI). All our co-
founders have previously founded and exited crypto startups, including
Ambrosus ($250m exit) and our CTO was Team Lead in Fantom ($8B market cap
reached).

**Requirements for candidate**

The ideal candidate will have experience in managing multiple business
development and operational processes in an early-stage startup environment
from start to finish. Essentially you will be the right hand of the CEO. This
individual should also have experience reaching out WITH RESULTS to large
number of warm leads, managing people and to be an effective communicator. Be
prepared for a chaotic, unpredictable, non-linear environment with
unconventional tasks and problems. You need to be a self-starter and able to
work in a dynamic, crazy environment of crypto and AI.

As we are an early-stage startup, in the first few months, we expect the COO
to also perform tasks that would normally be (and later will be) performed by
Head of Business Development as well as Head of Fundraising.

Please note this is a remote position (fixed contract), with no office
provided. Company is located off-shore. Team is remote and converges at
various crypto and AI conferences for in-person meetings.

**Specific responsibilities:**

Identify and Cultivate Relationships: Develop and maintain strong
relationships with venture capitalists (VCs), family offices, and investment
syndicates. Additionally, experience securing funding from token presales will
be of immense value.
Strategic Fundraising: Create and execute a comprehensive fundraising strategy
tailored to PrivateAI's objectives, ensuring alignment with the company's
vision and goals.
Manage ecosystem projects of PrivateAI, including helping packaging and
shaping early-stage startups launching on our ecosystem
Negotiation Expertise: Lead negotiations with potential investors,
demonstrating a keen understanding of the fundraising landscape and market
dynamics.
Deal Closure: Drive the fundraising process from initiation to completion,
ensuring the successful closure of the Seed Round within the targeted $5m.
Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive strategic plan that
aligns project objectives with the ever-evolving landscape of web3
technologies.
Decision-Making: Make strategic decisions on partnerships, acquisitions, and
resource allocation to optimize the success of the project.
Project Operations: Oversee all facets of project operations, including
technology development, token management, and compliance, ensuring seamless
integration and efficient execution.
Collaboration: Regularly collaborate with technical teams to ensure alignment
with project goals and maintain effective communication channels.
Market Awareness: Stay abreast of the latest trends and developments in the
web3 space, providing insights and recommendations to keep the project at the
forefront of industry advancements.
Competitive Positioning: Identify opportunities and technologies to enhance
the project's competitiveness and market positioning.
Relationship Management: Cultivate and sustain strong relationships with
investors, partners, and stakeholders to build trust, confidence, and foster
long-term collaboration.
Community Engagement: Engage with the crypto community by addressing
inquiries, providing updates, and strategically boosting the project's
visibility to maintain a positive and active presence.
Leveraging of all key online communications resources, such as social media,
blogs, events in order to drive business development opportunities
Financial Management: Develop and manage budgets, financial forecasts, and
strategies to ensure the project's financial health and sustainability.

We need an ability to be mobile and responsive and never say to any task "this
is a job for another person".

Please also note we are an EARLY STAGE STARTUP so the COO will need to do the
work him/herself, NOT look to hire some people to do it!

**Qualifications**

5+ years of REAL experience in tech business development (tech sales, presales
marketing, fundraising) or operations supporting these activities
Mandatory experience in early-stage or growth-stage startups (MINIMUM 3 years
in crypto, AI, fintech, gaming, gambling or forex would be great - we do NOT
count working in outsourcing companies on these subjects)
Network and Charisma: Possess an extensive network within the investment
community, showcasing the ability to leverage connections for strategic
advantage. Charismatic communication skills are a must.
Demonstrated ability to close deals with investors and paying customers
Intelligent use of auxiliary AI tools like Copilot, GPT, etc for CRM purposes
and keeping track of clients
Strong passion about new technologies, in particular crypto and AI
Strong communication skills.
Strong crisis management skills
Perfect English is a must. Working/native knowledge of other major global
languages is a plus.
Experience working with a team in a non-corporate environment. We do NOT have
various standard corporate processes in place!
