We are seeking a talented and forward-thinking Head of Engineering with a
strong background in iOS development to lead our client's dating app platform.
You'll have the opportunity to influence and define the technical direction of
the product, build and scale the web app infrastructure, and hire and lead a
growing team of engineers. You'll also play a pivotal role in overseeing the
development and evolution of the platform while incorporating your expertise.

**Responsibilities:**
* **Infrastructure:** Build and maintain a robust and scalable web app, iOS & Android infrastructure, ensuring the platform's reliability, performance, and security while safeguarding user data and privacy.
* **Technical Strategy:** Define the long-term technical vision and roadmap for their platform, identifying opportunities to leverage AI to improve user interactions and engagement with a focus on user well-being.
* **Team Leadership:** As the engineering lead, you will be responsible for growing and leading the engineering team, mentoring junior developers, and fostering a collaborative and innovative culture centered around human values.
* **Prototyping:** Rapidly create prototypes to test and validate features and improvements, ensuring they align with business and user needs.
* **AI-Powered Product Development:** Utilize your AI experience to conceptualize, design, and implement innovative features that enhance the user experience and differentiate their app in the market while adhering to human-centered design principles.
**Qualifications:**
* **Product Launch Experience:** Experience launching 3+ products to market end to end to production. Deep understanding of best practices in launching apps and websites to a wide market user base.
* **Technical Background:** 7+ years of experience as a full-stack engineer. Proficiency in technical architecture and back-end production applications, AI methodologies, and languages like Node, Rails, Go, or Python.
* **Product Development and Delivery:** Solid understanding of the digital product-building process from start to finish.
* **Innovation:** A passion for innovation and the ability to think creatively to create a unique and compelling user experience while adhering to human-centered design principles.
* **Adaptability:** A willingness to embrace the challenges and uncertainties of a lean start-up environment, with a proactive and adaptable approach to problem-solving.
* **Communication Skills:** Effective communication with both technical and non-technical audiences, comfortable leading technical presentations.
* **Architectural Design:** Ability to produce diagrams and documentation reflecting architectural decisions, patterns, and principles, particularly in AI-related projects.
* **Leadership:** Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor an engineering team.
