**Your role at PlanetX:**
We are looking for a Frontend Engineer to be a part of our team to produce
value driven products. Your team will own the design architecture,
development, testing, deployment, and delivery of enterprise level software
applications.
**You will:**
* Develop major components, coordinating with other developers and cross-functional team members
* As part of the team, the role will help deliver new capabilities to take full advantage of cloud native architecture and microservices and the continued support and sustainment thereafter
* Work closely with the QA, UX and other related teams to ensure consistent understanding of requirements and approach
* You can design and code front-end (highly polished UIs, animations, and transitions) deliverables and integrate with APIs or DB services.
* Code review for work delivered by the development team
* Create documentation and tools for installation and maintenance
* Proficiently use systematic debugging to diagnose all issues within the scope of their domain
* Foster a culture of delivering of excellence through non-judgemental, productive conversation and constructive feedback
* Provide accurate development time estimates and communicate effectively with engineering management
* Be a collaborative member of a scrum team
**What we're looking for:**
**Must Have:**
* 3-6 years of demonstrated ability in Software Development as a Frontend/Fullstack developer.
* 2+ years' experience in developing RESTful services and consuming REST/JSON APIs GIT and git-flow
* Experience building scalable, reliable distributed systems.
* Experience with Single Page Applications and responsive applications built using JavaScript frameworks like React
* Experience developing and consuming REST/JSON APIs GIT and git-flow
* Experience with Amazon AWS Cloud Services.
* Experience with build tools and understanding of continuous build/delivery
* Experience leading software architecture designs and discussions.
* Experience working with Product Managers and collaborating with teams on requirements.
**Nice to Have :**
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant experience.
* 3-6 years of relevant software development experience
* Experience with Go; Python Experience helpful
* Experience working in a scrum based agile team.
