**This is a contract role. The hourly rate offered is $50–70/hr.** Rate will
depend on experience.
Planetary is looking for a contract Digital Producer who is excited about
leading teams to success in creating digital experiences for a variety of
clients on a part-time basis. You will be needed for between 10 and 20 hours
per week, each week.
As a Digital Producer, you will work as the strategic connection between our
clients and internal teams to lead digital projects from kick-off through
deployment.
You will work with clients and Planetary stakeholders to understand the full
business and project context and will lead Planetary’s Strategy, Design, and
Development teams through each phase of the project process.
You will be responsible for project planning, delivery success, project
workflow, and client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

### Responsibilities
* Drive projects from inception to delivery, managing budget, resources, timelines, and quality goals.
* Develop and maintain detailed project plans and use them to guide clients and teams to success.
* Act as the direct point of contact for client teams, including marketing, product, business, and IT stakeholders.
* Manage the project and task delivery processes so that the team resources can work as an effective, goal-driven, and collaborative global team.
* Manage the team’s day-to-day tasks to ensure deadlines and project goals are met each week, including sprint planning, task assignments, and point estimations.
* Source, organize, and centralize information and assets for the project, keeping all records accurate and up to date.
* Proactively plan and facilitate internal and external Review meetings, including agenda creation, expectation setting, preparation of artifacts, note taking, and distribution of “Next Steps”.
* Document and communicate project status to teams on a regular basis to ensure all teams are aware of the next steps, budget, priorities, and project milestones.
* Surface risk factors, unknowns, and information gaps related to the product and timeline and propose solutions and resource requests to overcome obstacles and capitalize on opportunities.
### Requirements
* 4+ years of experience managing digital projects from inception to deployment.
* English fluency.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills.
* Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a focus on strong task management, sprint planning, and prioritization skills.
* Timeliness and punctuality.
* Ability to manage and handle ambiguity in requirements, client communications, or other project unknowns as they arise.
* Ability to work with minimal supervision. Self-motivated and proactive approaches are required.
* Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
* Provide leadership and help foster a work culture that recognizes and supports individual differences in work styles, personalities, cultures, and values to maximize team performance.
