At PhrasIQ, we are building future-focused AI platforms that can transform
industries by making data actionable at scale. We’re looking for a visionary
Chief Technology Officer (CTO) who will help lead our technology strategy,
product innovation, and team as we continue to expand into new sectors and
markets. This is an equity-based role with a pathway to becoming a co-founder,
offering an opportunity to help shape the future of AI and data solutions.

**Role Overview:**
As CTO, you will be responsible for driving the development of PhrasIQ’s
future products, focusing on delivering AI and data platforms that accelerate
enterprise innovation. You’ll lead a team of engineers and data scientists in
building secure, scalable, and high-performance systems, ensuring that our
solutions meet the diverse needs of enterprise clients across various
industries. This role offers a unique opportunity to be a key part of the
executive leadership team, with the potential for a co-founder position as the
company achieves key growth milestones.

**Key Responsibilities:**

_Technology Leadership & Strategy:_

* Set the technical direction for PhrasIQ’s future product development, ensuring our solutions are aligned with evolving enterprise needs.
* Lead the design and deployment of scalable AI and data platforms that can serve multiple industries such as finance, automotive, healthcare, and defense.
* Collaborate with the executive team to shape and refine the company’s long-term technology roadmap.

_Innovation & Product Development:_

* Build and innovate products that deliver real-time, actionable insights from data using AI, machine learning, and advanced analytics.
* Develop scalable architectures that integrate seamlessly with enterprise workflows and third-party APIs.
* Continuously explore new AI advancements, ensuring PhrasIQ stays ahead of the curve in areas like LLMs, natural language processing, and predictive analytics.

_Team Leadership & Scaling:_

* Recruit, lead, and mentor a talented engineering and data science team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous innovation.
* Implement best practices for agile software development, DevOps, and MLOps, ensuring rapid iteration and product quality.
* Scale the technology infrastructure to support rapid growth as PhrasIQ expands into new markets and industries.

_Client & Partner Engagement:_

* Work closely with enterprise clients, understanding their needs and translating them into innovative technical solutions.
* Collaborate with strategic partners in the AI and tech ecosystem, such as NVIDIA Inception, to advance PhrasIQ’s technical capabilities.

_Infrastructure & Security:_

* Ensure that all systems are optimized for performance, scalability, and security, adhering to data privacy regulations such as GDPR and HIPAA.
* Lead efforts to enhance cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability, fault tolerance, and cost-efficiency across platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

**Qualifications:**

_Educational Background:_

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering,
or a related field. A PhD is a plus.

_Technical Expertise:_

* Proven expertise in artificial intelligence, machine learning, data science, and NLP technologies.
* Extensive experience with LLMs, predictive modeling, and developing AI-driven solutions for enterprise clients.
* Strong hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn.
* Deep knowledge of cloud computing, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
* Proficiency in data engineering and pipeline development using technologies like Apache Spark, Kafka, and data lake architectures.

_Professional Experience:_

* 8+ years in technical leadership roles (CTO, VP of Engineering) within AI, machine learning, or data-centric companies.
* Track record of successfully leading and scaling technology teams in fast-growing startups or tech companies.
* Demonstrated success in building and deploying AI platforms that deliver tangible value to enterprise clients.
* Strong background in system architecture, microservices, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and DevOps practices.
* Experience with enterprise-grade AI solutions, including real-time data processing, predictive analytics, and ML model deployment.

_Compensation:_
This role offers equity-based compensation. Upon reaching an internal
milestone, the role will transition to a salary-based compensation with a
comprehensive benefits package. The CTO role also offers the potential to
upgrade to a _co-founder position_ , with all the benefits and
responsibilities that come with it.
